Inspired by the iconic marquee of the former Cinéma de Paris and the stars of its era, Le Diamant will shine a spotlight on its patrons through a new philanthropy program. The initiative aims to bring together around 250 individuals committed to supporting Le Diamant’s mission by pledging a donation of $500 per year for five years.
To mark Le Diamant’s 5th anniversary, the Pierres précieuses program honours and brings together patrons who are deeply committed to the venue’s mission and artistic outreach. These individuals believe in the power of the performing arts to bring people together from all walks of life and strengthen community ties.
Participants may have up to five (5) names engraved on an exclusive slab on Le Diamant’s Rooftop Terrace for a period of five (5) years. The program was officially launched on June 20, 2024.
Leave your mark in the heart of Le Diamant. Whether it’s in your name, in your company’s name, or in the memory of a loved one, Le Diamant invites you to engrave a personal message on a seat in the Hydro-Québec Auditorium. Follow the lead of generous donors who, like you, have decided to support the mission of Le Diamant, a nonprofit organization. Together, we will share cultural experiences and make them accessible to as many people as possible.
Give the gift of cultural experiences. Would you like to offer a show ticket to a student, a person with low income or someone new to the performing arts? By working together with various regional organizations and thanks to your tremendous generosity, Le Diamant will welcome these valued spectators in your name so that they may discover the joy of theatre, circus and other performing arts.
For every dollar donated, Le Diamant will match it, doubling your donation.

Last year, the Caisse d’économie solidaire Desjardins and the Caisse Desjardins de Québec came together to give an amount of $110 000 to seven performing-arts venues of downtown Québec City, including us, in order to help promote the return of cultural events after two difficult years for the performing arts milieu.
Once again, the two Caisses have committed to giving financial support to Le Diamant. Each year for the next three years, they will give $15 000 to continue the Desjardins Billets du cœur program. The tickets will be distributed for free to organizations in our sector. In addition to promoting cultural experiences, this movement will make them more accessible to Québec City’s less-advantaged clients—an initiative that aligns with Le Diamant’s mission.
