Yes, Le Diamant is very easy to reach by public transit. It is centrally located, directly across from Place D’Youville and just steps from Saint-Jean Gate.
Bus Service Changes
Several adjustments will be made to bus service to allow routes to avoid construction zones and continue serving areas affected by the tramway construction.
Visit the Réseau de transport de la Capitale (RTC) website for the latest information and to plan your trip in advance.
We recommend using one of the nearby covered paid parking facilities.
Paid parking is available in the area, including SPAQ at Place d’Youville, just steps from the entrance to Le Diamant, and Place Québec Parking.
Tip: Plan to arrive 30 to 45 minutes before the show to allow enough time for parking and getting to your seat.


Yes. Le Diamant is fully accessible to people with reduced mobility. The venue has elevators serving all floors, step-free access, and designated wheelchair spaces in the theatre. We also have an accessible washroom.
Please note, however, that wheelchairs are not available to borrow on site.
If you are accompanying a person with reduced mobility and have an Accompagnement Loisir Companion Card, your ticket is free of charge.
Yes. Certified guide dogs and service dogs are welcome in all areas of Le Diamant, including the theatre.
The trained dog must wear a visual identification item bearing the logo of the organization where the training took place (harness, scarf or other visual identification).
Yes. Le Diamant has a high-fidelity FM transmitter system that allows people with hearing loss to receive a direct transmission of the performance using a radio receiver. If you do not have this type of device, Le Diamant provides receivers free of charge at the box office. Quantities are limited.
Yes. Le Diamant welcomes people of all ages and offers families several amenities and facilities to make their visit more comfortable.
Children aged 2 and under are admitted free of charge when sitting on a parent’s lap, provided a complimentary ticket is obtained at the box office. For programming information, performances intended for family audiences or subject to a minimum age are clearly indicated on each production’s page.
On site, families have access to spacious, accessible, gender-neutral washrooms. Foldable strollers can be left free of charge at the coat check, although they are not permitted in the theatre. The Diamant bar also offers light refreshments and options suitable for families before performances.
Parents are responsible for ensuring that their child’s behaviour is appropriate at all times during performances, out of respect for the artists and other audience members.
If a child disrupts the experience of other audience members during a performance, a member of the front-of-house team may ask the child and their accompanying adult to leave the theatre in order to ensure the performance can continue smoothly and to preserve the comfort of other audience members. No compensation will be provided in such circumstances.
Yes. When a performance is taking place, Le Diamant has a foyer and bar offering a wide selection of alcoholic beverages, including wine, local beer and cocktails. Alcohol sales are restricted to guests aged 18 and over upon presentation of valid ID.
Outside alcohol and beverages are not permitted on the premises.
No, food cannot be consumed inside Le Diamant.
The venue does not have an on-site food service. However, the theatre is located in the heart of Old Québec, within walking distance of many restaurants, and some of our partners offer exclusive discounts when you present your show ticket.

Yes. You may bring your own reusable water bottle into the Hydro-Québec Hall during performances. Water refill stations are also available outside the theatre.
The doors to Le Diamant’s theatre open 45 minutes before the performance begins. The foyer and bar service are also available 45 minutes before the show.
If you arrive late, you will generally not be allowed into the theatre once the performance has begun, out of respect for the artists and other audience members. If a latecomer is admitted, they will be seated at the back of the theatre and will not be able to access their original seat.
Tip for arriving on time: Allow extra time if you are driving to find parking, or consider using public transit, which is conveniently located near the theatre.
Yes. Your Amant-e-s du Diamant membership can be cancelled and refunded, provided that none of the program’s privileges or benefits have been used.

You can choose a free e-ticket (to display on your mobile device or print) or a physical ticket (to be mailed to you or picked up on the day of the performance at the Le Diamant Box Office).
Fees apply to the physical ticket option.

No. Gift cards are valid only for the purchase of performance tickets, guided tours and items at the boutique.
Yes. A coat check is available free of charge to all audience members.

No. All ticket sales at Le Diamant are final and cannot be exchanged or refunded.

If a performance is cancelled, Le Diamant will contact ticket buyers directly by email to explain their options, such as rescheduling or receiving a refund.
Tip: Check your Junk/Spam folder or the Promotions tab in Gmail on the day of the performance if you have not received the email.
Yes. Le Diamant’s seating plan is available online for reference. However, the exact theatre layout may vary depending on the production.
