Presented by Caisse d’économie solidaire Desjardins, in collaboration with Aéroport international Jean-Lesage de Québec, the benefit event L’Extravaganza du Diamant – Défis d’improvisation promises a one-of-a-kind experience! Six renowned artists, among the best improvisers, will take the stage with no script or prior preparation. They will spontaneously respond to prompts from the evening’s head chef, Dominic Lapointe of the Festival d’Impro de Québec.
Fabiola Aladin, Lelouis Courchesne, Marie Soleil Dion, Pier-Luc Funk, Laurent Paquin and Tammy Verge will create never-before-seen scenes, moving from cutting-edge performances to nearly insurmountable challenges, blending playful games with endless moments of laughter.

A one-of-a-kind improv night not to be missed, in the presence of Le Diamant co-founders, Lynda Beaulieu and Robert Lepage.
The event is under the honorary chairmanship of Ms. Marie-Christine Laflamme, Ms. Claudia Laflamme, Mr. Alexandre Laflamme, and Mr. Charles Laflamme of Meubles South Shore.

This unique, deeply welcoming, and inspiring space is in perfect harmony with the values we uphold and that our family foundation strives to promote.”

— Ms. Lynda Beaulieu, President and co-fonder of Diamant“Robert Lepage’s legendary solo improvisation, titled “New York: Reality and Illusion,” captured the imagination of Quebecers when it was first presented in 1986. This unforgettable performance and daring artistic discipline inspired the theme of our upcoming benefit evening. Thanks to the support of the Laflamme family, the renewed commitment of our friends at Caisse d’économie solidaire Desjardins, and the collaboration of the Festival d’impro de Québec, we promise a unique evening for our valued donors on May 14, 2026. Le Diamant is fortunate to count on the support of generous and inspiring business leaders who believe in the importance and accessibility of live arts for the well-being and development of our community.”
— Mr. Steve Labrie, Executive Director
