Le Diamant is expanding its 2026–2027 program with three distinctive productions. First, Neecheemus by Émilie Monnet (Canada), an Indigenous interdisciplinary creation featuring Joséphine Bacon, co-presented with Mois Multi. Next, Kamp by Hotel Modern (Netherlands), a remarkable work exploring the memory of the Holocaust. Finally, Décrochez-moi-ça by Bêtes de foire (France), a work of handcrafted circus presented under a small big top in Le Diamant’s Salle Hydro-Québec. Three compelling artistic worlds that push the boundaries of the stage and invite audiences to discover something truly striking.
Tickets go on sale to the general public on Wednesday, November 4, at 8 a.m. Members of the Les Amants du Diamant loyalty program can purchase their tickets now by accessing their account.
In Neecheemus, artist and director Émilie Monnet brings together several Indigenous women artists, including Joséphine Bacon. Together, they freely explore love, eroticism and pleasure. Featuring music by Anachnid and Frannie Holder, along with projections by Caroline Monnet, this creation brings personal stories into dialogue with collective memories.
Joyful, sensual and deeply free, Neecheemus invites us to shift our perspectives, awaken our senses and reimagine our relationship with ourselves and others. A vibrant celebration that invites us to imagine new ways of loving, together.
Presented internationally since 2005, Kamp by Hotel Modern recreates the Auschwitz-Birkenau extermination camp. This production uses a miniature world made up of more than 3,000 handcrafted figurines. Filmed live by three performers and accompanied by an immersive soundscape, these images reveal the mechanics of Nazi extermination.
The work explores object theatre and video to address the unspeakable. Without seeking to sensationalize the horror, its meticulous staging raises questions about how history is represented and passed on, making theatre a place of remembrance and vigilance.
Presented under a small big top in Le Diamant’s Salle Hydro-Québec, Décrochez-moi-ça brings the extraordinary out of the ordinary. On a circular stage, bodies seem to float and objects are transformed. Blending circus, object theatre, music and visual poetry, mishaps and feats of skill come together in scenes that are as delicate as they are unusual.
The French company Bêtes de foire cultivates a stage language in which movement, materials and ingenious machinery play a central role. With this creation, the company continues its exploration of an intimate, dreamlike form of circus, imbued with tenderness and wonder.

The Infidelity Program Les Amants du Diamant brings together hundreds of discovery-seekers. The annual membership, offered at $110 + taxes, includes a $50 box office credit, discounts, access to presales, exclusive events and rewards designed to offer privileged experiences throughout the year.

In 2023, the Caisse d’économie solidaire Desjardins and Caisse Desjardins de Québec joined forces to donate $110,000 to seven downtown Québec City performance venues, including Le Diamant, to support the cultural sector’s recovery following two challenging years for the performing arts.
Once again, the two caisses are committing financial support to Le Diamant. A total of $15,000 will be donated annually for the following seasons: 2026–2027, 2027–2028 and 2028–2029. This contribution makes it possible to continue the Desjardins Billets du cœur program, with tickets distributed free of charge through organizations in our community. The initiative not only promotes culture, but also makes the performing arts more accessible to underserved communities in Québec City—an effort that aligns closely with Le Diamant’s mission.
Since the beginning of their commitment, more than 1,400 Billets du cœur Desjardins have been provided free of charge to members of the community.
Thanks to the commitment of our valued partners and donors, Le Diamant continues to deliver on its promises. Le Diamant extends its warmest thanks to all its partners and donors.
And, a heartfelt thank you to the donors who contributed to our major private fundraising campaign. Thanks to their generosity, the $10 million goal was reached on January 25, 2024. Learn more.
