Inauguration of the Gilles Tremblay Piano
Les Violons du Roy
BMO Lobby
Come to the inauguration of a new resident at Le Diamant : a majestic Steinway piano made in 1919. Designed in a Louis XV style and covered with gold leaves, this unique instrument belonged to Gilles Tremblay, composer and teacher. The cellist Raphael Dubé, his grandson, initiated the bequest to the Fondation of Les Violons du Roy.
This remarkable piano is a pillar of our new programming and will be the heart of a serie of intimate and original concerts in collaboration with Les Violons du Roy.
Works by Bach, Debussy, Messiaen, Mozart and Tremblay will be performed.
