A video clip introducing the inaugural programming will be available today on Le Diamant’s Facebook page. This teaser reveals the varied programming of Fall 2019, as well as the vision that guided General Manager and Programmer Bernard Gilbert in his artistic choices.

We are going to surprise people. People will discover they like it and become regulars, and we will work to keep them as regulars.

The Teams On-Site at Le Diamant

The teams of Le Diamant, Ex Machina, and Robert Lepage Inc. have now moved into their brand-new offices on the 4th floor of Le Diamant. On July 4, they left the Caserne Dalhousie, the multidisciplinary company’s artistic home for the last 22 years. Alongside the numerous teams working to complete the building’s construction, finishing work, and scenography, the 40-something employees are settling into the airy, light-filled, and functional space with an incredible view of Place d’Youville and all its summer activities. Everyone is hard at work to complete this unique performing-arts venue and open it to the public on August 31 and September 1 for the inaugural activities. The full details will be revealed in the coming weeks.
