WHAT IF MACHINES WOULD TAKE CONTROL OF HUMANS?
Inferno is a participative robotic performance during which certain spectators will wear exoskeletons controlled by their designers, Louis-Philippe Demers and Bill Vorn.
For an hour, the audience becomes an active part of the performance. Some spectators are free to move while participants are in a position of submission partially imposed by exoskeletons, forced to act and react to the rhythms of electroacoustic music and strobe lights.
Each evening, among the 350 spectators, only 50 will be able to live the robotic exoskeleton experience. These lucky ones will have to arrive 40 minutes earlier to be prepared and equipped accordingly.
For the first time since the inaugural activities, the Salle Hydro-Québec will be transformed into a large studio, an ample space without any seats.
Postponed performances — 60 minutes without intermission $26 — $37
