Glockenspiel at Le Diamant
Presented by Solotech
Exterior facade of Le Diamant
In German, Glockenspiel means “carillon” (literally “bell play”).
At the request of the German Christmas Market, which has added a new location this year at Place D’Youville, and in partnership with Solotech, Le Diamant is presenting the Glockenspiel. Designed to be viewed in the windows from outside the building, the installation pays homage to the large, crowd-pleasing, hundred-year-old clock in the heart of Munich. Every day through the end of the year, from 12 p.m. until 9 p.m., Le Diamant will transform into a Glockenspiel with all its mechanisms. Come enjoy the animated show inspired by the stories of 16th-century characters and traditional German music.
