Unveiling of the Fall 2021 program

August 23
2021

Le Diamant, under the artistic direction of Robert Lepage, is very proud to announce the fall programming.

From September through November 2021, Le Diamant is presenting its most multifaceted programming yet: theatre…from wrestling to opera!

The entirely Québécois programming highlights the theatricality within each of the wide-ranging performing-arts disciplines. Included in these offerings is the exclusive world premiere of Ex Machina’s new production, which is written, designed, directed and performed by Robert Lepage, accompanied by marionettists.

Le Diamant will also present new circus shows from Quebec and will wrap up the programming by enthusiastically welcoming its first opera, featuring acclaimed artists in a new production by a Québécois company!

Tickets for most of the shows will be on sale starting on Saturday, August 28, at noon, available on Le Diamant’s website, or by calling the box office at (418) 692-5353. Other events will be announced between now and December 31.

Stay tuned!

Affordable Ticket Prices

Concerned about accessibility to cultural experiences, Le Diamant offers shows at prices ranging from $15 to $84, taxes and service charges included. Various initiatives are prioritized in order to allow people experiencing lower-income situations or clients new to the performing arts to discover the joy of these cultural events:

  • MIDI 50 tickets: At noon on the day of each performance, dozens of seats are available for direct sale at Le Diamant’s box office for 50% of the average of the regular ticket prices.
  • Special rate for those 15 years old and younger who are accompanied by a parent or adult: Tickets at $15, taxes and service charges included, are available for most shows.
  • Student rate: A 25% discount on regularly priced category 2 or 3 tickets is offered upon presentation of a student ID card.

Le Diamant's Rooftop Terrace

Le Diamant unveiled one of its most beautiful facets this summer: its rooftop terrace! Though September 6, you have the chance to experience what more than 4000 visitors have done since the terrace opened in July: you can combine a self-guided tour of Le Diamant’s lobby—a great way to discover the building’s rich history—with access to Le Diamant’s spectacular 5th-floor rooftop terrace. Perfect for an aperitif with friends or loved ones, the terrace offers a stunning view of Old Quebec. In the event of rain, the experience takes place in the 2nd-floor lobby. Reservations are available the Boutique Expérience.
